Hello, I’m Marie Shaw, an ear wax removal specialist with a background in adult nursing. I hold a National Higher Diploma in Adult Nursing and I am Tympa trained and accredited. I am also a member of the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists.

I have over 15 years of experience as a nurse, having trained at Derby University, and three years specialising in ear wax removal with Tympa Health. I have spent the past few years providing home visits due to high demand, and I now offer a weekly clinic at The Old Surgery in Mackworth.

My approach is calm, professional, and patient. Clients often tell me they feel cared for, listened to, and at ease during their appointment. My aim is to make ear care feel straightforward, comfortable, and reassuring.

Who I Support

I work with adults aged 18 and over who are experiencing ear related concerns, including:
• Blocked or itchy ears
• Ringing in the ears
• Hearing aid users
• People working in loud or noisy environments
• Regular use of headsets or ear plugs

• Ear health check with no wax present £20
• One ear removal in clinic £45
• Both ears removal £65
